FOOD: B++
Donovan’s which is located on 32nd street and Camelback in the heart of Phoenix. When you walk in you enter into a foyer of nothing but Mahogany wood and plush chairs. Then you walk through double doors and dining area is dimly lit and it is floor to ceiling in Mahogany wood. All the tables are lined with white linen and the service there is top notch you have three waiters to wait on you. The bread comes out warm and the butter is amazing. We ordered the lobster bisque which was quite delectable. We then ordered Fillets which came with smashed garlic potatoes and fresh vegetables. We also ordered a side of Mac and cheese.
The smashed potatoes and Vegetables were amazing perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The mac and cheese came out extremely too hot, it actually burned our mouths a little, after it cooled down and we could taste it, it was phenomenal. On to the main reason why we came to Donovan’s, the delicious steak I ordered mine pepper crusted. The steak was very good and cooked perfectly, it was tender and moist and had great flavor but it was not the best I have had in town. Check out the other spots I recommend for that. Overall a great romantic atmosphere and great food and I definably recommend this for a great valentines dinner.

All together our food was $160.00 which came with 2 meals, drinks, bread, 2 cups of soup and a side of Mac and cheese and the tip of 20%.
CLEANLINESS: A++
By far one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in absolutely spotless.
OVERALL: B++
Overall I give it a B++ and I recommend this restaurant for Romantic evenings or special occasions. I could not obtain the menu they would not let me take one with me lol. Make it a great day and eat well, you deserve it.
