I just had finished my first semester in Law school and I decided to go out to eat. I was going to go to my favorite Mexican food spot when I was driving there and I saw a sign that read…
FOOD: C-
BLU Burger which is a burger joint in Peoria and Scottsdale that I have tried once and I thought it was amazing. This time my eyes were opened to how the burgers really are. I order the Kobe beef burger, not American Kobe but the imported Kobe. I get my burger and it looks amazing. I take one bite into it and it was over cooked, I ordered medium I got well done. I was going to send it back but it was lunch time and it was pretty busy. The meat tasted like ground beef from a package, there was really no flavor or seasoning on the burger and the bread a too much and it took away from whatever meat taste there was. The toppings were ok nothing to brag about, overall it was very disappointing and just down right mediocre.
SERVICE: B+
The service here decent, my waitress was nice and very professional, not very friendly but she did a good job taking care of my table. Overall good service!
PRICE: $-$$
The meat ranges from $8 to $17 it all depends on the meat that you order. My meal was $17 and a $3 tip. So overall $20 for a burger this place is not worth it.
CLEANLINESS: B
All I have to say with as many people that were going in and out it, it was clean.
OVERALL: C-
Overall I give it a C-. The food was overpriced, the service was ok and the food itself was at best subpar, I would not recommend going here for a good burger. Make it a great day and eat well, you deserve it.
