It was one of my dad’s days off from work so we decided to go out to eat. We had to do a few errands like pick up cars and take some food to my grandmother but once all that was finished we went to…
FOOD: A-
La Casa Del Mariachi, which is located on 24th street and McDowell and has Mariachis after 7pm on certain days of the week. I ordered the Chipotle chicken with rice and beans. The rice and beans are some of the best I have tasted in Arizona. The rice was perfectly cooked and the beans were like and explosion of taste in your mouth not sure what they did to them but they are phenomenal. I love chipotle chilies so I was excited to try this; the chicken was chopped into small pieces but was still very tender and juicy. The red chipotle sauce that the chicken was covered in was amazing not to spicy but just enough spicy to give it a good taste. The salsa was great it was not very spicy but had a full flavor and a hint of Jalapeño, delicious.
SERVICE: A
We get there and walk up to the hostess podium and she immediately sits us. Once we sit down she takes our drink order. About a minute later she brings us chips and two things of salsa which is a big plus in my book because I love salsa. She takes our order. The wait staff was very professional and very prompt with our food. They were also very good at refilling our drinks and our chips without us asking.
PRICE: $
The food is very reasonable and they have a great lunch menu that is available every day. The bill was about $10.00 that is a meal and a drink and incredible service.
CLEANLINESS: A
All I have to say with as many people that were going in and out it, it was clean.
OVERALL: A-
Overall I give it an A- I recommend this restaurant for brunch or lunch, I don’t know how they are for dinner, check it out and let me know. The menu and locations are posted below. Make it a great day and eat well, you deserve it.
