La Condesa Gourmet taco shop not all that gourment or that god GRADE C

It was a perfect Sunday to go out to eat with the family. We decided to go to our favorite taco spot on 16th and Van Buren, when we arrived it was closed. We decided to go to the next closes one on 16th and McDowell but I said there is this gourmet taco shop just up the street about a half of a mile. We get there and I go inside and it says that they received the best tacos of 2010 award from PHX Magazine, I was like right on. We all get off and go to…

FOOD: C

La Condesa Gourmet tacos I ordered the Mole and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos had a whole bunch of roasted vegetables and some fresh onions on it. This taco had no seasonings on it just vegies shrimp and corn tortillas. I love mole and I decided to eat that one last it was very salty and had really no spice to it. The best part was the chips and salsa; there is a salsa bar with 12 different homemade salsas. This was great and I really enjoyed this aspect of the restaurant. The Horchata was amazing and I think is some of the best in town.

SERVICE: B

The service was ok, a little slows on service and had to ask a couple of times for a refill on my drink and chips. I would complain but it was not that busy in there.

PRICE: $

Each taco is $3 or a meal for $7.

CLEANLINESS: A

All I have to say it that it was very clean.

OVERALL: C

Overall I give it a C. The food was average and was really lacking in flavor in my opinion, I would  not go there again.  Menu and location posted below, Make it a great day and eat well, you deserve it.
