It was my sisters last day in town before she had to head off to the Cayman Islands to go back to Medical school so we all decided to get together to go out to eat.
FOOD: C
Aunt Chiladas located on 16th street and Northern near the North Pointe Hilton it is a Mexican food restaurant hidden near the mountains. They have an extensive menu with Mexican food, sea food and American food, have tried all three. The Chips are homemade and are actually really good, they have corn or flour chips and the mild salsa is not that good but the spicy salsa is pretty darn good and it has a nice kick to it. The burgers are not that great they use ground beef and it isn’t seasoned very well but the toppings are great bacon, green chilies, onions and three types of cheese. The sea food isn’t all that it tastes generic and really not anything special there and the shrimp was rubbery and the fish was dry. The enchiladas and green chili taste like they were prepared out of a can. I have not had tried their chicken tacos which my sister claims they are amazing.
